  <Tab title="Mobile">
    Pass `ref` as a top-level field in the SDK's `options` object when launching the SDK:

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "intent": "connect",
      "module": "com.quicko.it.file",
      "ref": "YOUR_REF"
    }
    ```

    You only need to pass `ref` in `options` for mobile referral attribution. See the [Options Object](/projects/connect/guides/integrations/iosandroid-integration/options/index) reference and the [Launching](/projects/connect/guides/integrations/iosandroid-integration/triggering) examples for Java, Kotlin, and Swift.

  <Tab title="Web">
    Pass `ref` as a query parameter. Where you pass it depends on your integration flow.

    ### Redirect directly to the Income Tax App

    For the [Refer workflow](/projects/connect/guides/integrations/web-integration/refer), include `ref` in the redirect URL:

    ```text theme={null}
    https://it.quicko.com?ref={{YOUR_REF}}
    ```

    ### Redirect through OAuth

    For the [Connect workflow](/projects/connect/guides/integrations/web-integration/connect), append `ref` to the other query parameters in your `https://oauth.quicko.com/` URL:

    ```text theme={null}
    &ref={{YOUR_REF}}
    ```

    If you pass `ref` to OAuth, you do not need to pass it again when redirecting the user to `it.quicko.com`. If you did not pass it to OAuth, include it on the final Income Tax App redirect as shown above.
